PETZL Zigzag is a mechanical Prusik enabling tree care professionals to move around efficiently, identical technique to classic Prusik pulley system. Slack is easily taken up due to the pulley being mounted on sealed ball bearings, creating a smooth movement from the friction links that provides progressive breaking.

The device is kept in position due to the swivel for better rope glide through the device. The release lever is mounted on a spring for greater precision when releasing or locking the device.
