Work Positioning/ Seat Harnesses

Looking to buy a Tree climbing, Work Positioning/ Sit Harness?

If so, you've come to the right place! At we have carefully selected a range of high-quality work positioning/ rope access harnesses for industry professionals. Our seat harness range offers many features such as; cushioned waist belts, quick release buckles and multiple attachment points to make working at height as comfortable and safe as possible.

Both sit and leg loop harnesses have their benefits! Leg loop harnesses are more comfortable if a lot of canopy movement is necessary. Although, sit harnesses are excellent if climbers are hanging free for an extended period of time due to the additional support, acting like you are sat in a swing. Unfortunately, sit harnesses are known for pushing your hips and legs together, this can constrict movement especially over long periods of suspension.

Central attachment sliding rings increase lateral freedom by easing the amount of torque on a climbers hips or back by adjusting to their movement. Although, fixed D rings are still very popular as some arborists argue they feel more secure. At Life-Gear we sell a range of harnesses that either has fixed or sliding rings, we also sell spare sliding rings for the GFTH-30 and TF-TH-50.
