AT507 Steel Demarcation Post with base

This lattice post made of powder coated stainless steel with a PVC base is designed for use flat roofs with a maximum pitch of 5degrees

It can be used to prevent access to hazars during regular maintenance of roof mounted equipment such as air conditioning units and solar panels. It can also be used to creats a designated safe passage to a specific work area which is inbound of a leading edge, reducing the need for permanent freestanding guardrails

Can be set on the following roof surfaces: Single-ply, bituminous and concrete

The posts are designed to be positioned up to 3mtrs apart and at least 2mtrs from any leading edge or fall hazard. The posts are linked by 10mm plastic chain (sold seperately)

Health and safety in roof work HSG33 state that "where work is not done at the edge, demarcation barriers can be provided at a safe distance from the edge (usually at least 2meters), e.g work on an air conditioning unit in the middle of a roof"

Due to the lattice design, the post can withstand wind speeds of up to 80 miles per hour without being pushed over (tests conducted in wind tunnel)
